The company was formed in 2011 by Alistair McMillan. He originally qualified with Price Waterhouse and later spent 11 years in the Private
Client Department of Binder Hamlyn. Moving to Carton Garrigan he ran their tax department for 12 years. Following a merger, Alistair moved to the Private
Client department within Menzies LLP until 2011 when he set up A M Tax Services Ltd.
With over 30 years of experience Alistair has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to dealing with small businesses and individuals, ranging from
high net worth clients, company directors, the self-employed,
non-resident landlords, pensioners and Trusts.
In addition to personal tax compliance
and self assessment, Alistair routinely works on tax mitigation, capital
gains tax planning, advising on incorporations and selling or winding
up businesses, share portfolio reviews, property sales and rental income, retirement planning,
inheritance tax mitigation, minimising income tax, National Insurance
liabilities and Revenue Enquiries.
